An advocate of continuing education, she attended Helene Fuld College of Nursing in New York City, New York, and became a registered nurse in 1998 with her associate degree of arts and sciences in nursing. Furthermore, Plechette received her bachelor degree of science in nursing in 2001 at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York, and her master degree of science in nursing with Adult Nurse Practitioner concertation in 2008 at Stony Brook School of Nursing in Stony Brook, New York. In 2014, she became a Doctor of Nursing Practice with specialization in education leadership from The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. As a result of her outstanding performance in the field of nursing, The International Nurses Association (INA) has selected Plechette A. Dey-Foy, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, to be featured in the premier publication of The Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare.
